NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS 2024

I mentioned in my previous post (in Greek) that I would be posting some videos of me speaking in Japanese, as I’d, in turn, vowed to do in support of all the nice people taking our Easy Greek 30-Day Challenge.

I’ve kind of done that, although these videos take far too long to make (esp. if you take the subtitles into account), and this last one I made just as I was starting to get shivers because of the flu.

Now, three days later, I’ve jumped back relatively quickly, enough to have been working all day today on exciting projects regarding Easy Greek (no, they really are exciting. Believe me, you’ll see). Which means I’m exhausted and I’d like nothing more than to head to bed right now.

However, one of my New Year’s Resolutions from the ones I talk about in Japanese in the video above was to write something here on my blog every week.

So it was almost more than a week since my last post, so despite feeling dead tired, I want to make discipline a point and stick to that resolution. Only that way will I make writing a habit again.

Anyway, my resolutions for this year.

  1. I’ve been collecting too many books and games I never get the time to enjoy because I’m always too busy caring about what I’ll buy next. I will spend more time with what I already have and refrain from buying any new game or book unless I either finish and/or sell (or give away) 10 games or books for each new purchase. I had a similar resolution last year but it went pretty bad. I’ll write more about that soon.
  2. I’ll write at least one post here every week. See? I’m making it happen!
  3. Before I start work every day, I’ll reply to everyone expecting a message from me on Viber, WhatsApp, Facebook, mail (on all 8 e-mail accounts I have or so), on SMS, Signal, Telegram, Messenger, Instagram (both my personal one and the Easy Greek one). Oh, and calls. Don’t you miss it when people could just text or call you? And e-mail was the for those special people in your life? Ah, those were the days…

I want to work this list up to 10, so I’m coming back to this post soon.
