Pink Floyd – Speak to Me/Breathe

I was out today and I saw a poster for Easy Star All-Stars’ live at Fuzz Club. They’ll be playing on my birthday! Wouldn’t it be nice if I could go? But who would ever go there with me? }:{

Coming in earthly contact with that poster brought Dark Side Of The Moon rushing to my head, something not all that uncommon. There I was, standing in a packed tram, quietly singing Time, Money, Brain Damage, Eclipse…

…and Breathe. One of my favourite songs hands down. But it’s a bit redundant picking out just one of the tracks off DSOTM. It’s like having to pick out a single scene off Star Wars. Or Spaced. Or Lola Rennt. The lyrics, oh the lyrics take me, and have always taken me, places. This is beauty.

Dedicated to… oh! You know who you are. 🙂

Σήμερα για τα Γραφικά Υπολογιστών, ένα μάθημα που χρωστάω, νομίζω ότι δήλωσα στην σκούπα μου, αλλά δεν είμαι σίγουρος γιατί έχασα την δήλωση! Πάμε Λόφο και βλέπουμε. Ένα σερί παραπάνω και μια πρωινή βόλτα δεν βλάπτουν. Και το πολύ-πολύ περνάμε κι ένα μάθημα. *trying to play it cool*

Γραφικά Υπολογιστών; Καλά και κόβεσαι σ’αυτό; Δεν ξέρεις από γραφικά; *γιουχαίσματα!* Είναι μαθηματικά, συναρτήσεις, χ, y (το οποίο δεν μοιάζει με Ψ δεν ξέρω γιατί το λέμε Ψ), και πράγματα που θυμίζουν επικίνδυνα την Β’ Λυκείου. Αυτό το μάθημα το έχω δώσει τρεις φορές και έχω αποτύχει παταγωδώς και τις τρεις, από το 2ο έτος με κυνηγάει… Οπότε το retry ίσως να μην βοηθήσει. And skill ain’t all it’s gonna take to bring this one down.

I’m going in for the kill… Εκτός κι αν ο Μπαντιμαρούδης, στο προφορικό boss battle, χρησιμοποιήσει τις τακτικές που χρησιμοποιούν και τα boss στο Final Fantasy, και με μια massive-damage κίνηση βγάλει knock-out από το πουθενά όλη μου την ομάδα…

You Are Not So Smart

Awesome blog that shoots down common misconceptions about our abilities of thought, perception and human social behaviour. We are not so smart, and here’s the proof. Incredible psychology right there! There are so many articles, I can’t choose only a few to post here, so read them all! It was nice waking up early today and going through this blog for the first time while just lying in my warm bed when it’s so cold this time of year. *happy jitter*
